It makes me sad to see Nelson's photo with no comments. Nelson was a good friend in the last years of high school, and my sister's first love. He was good-looking, kind of wild, irreverent. I don't think school was his priority. He didn't go on to have an easy, successful life. The last time I saw him was 1980, in Houston. He still had that big, infectious grin. RIP old friend.
