This is really a great loss at such a young age. I wish she had attended our reunions. She would have had a great time with all of us. We were great friends in 10th grade but drifted into different groups the remaining years of high school. She was very smart, pretty, had a great since of humor and was an all around joy to be with.
She will be missed.

I was stunned to read Lyle's email and learn of Diann's death. We dated some while attending Spring Woods and I always considered her a good friend. She was funny, smart and always fun to be around.

I don't recall that she attended any of our reunions but I'd hoped she would attend the most recent one. I wish I could have seen her one more time.

Her mother was a wonderful person, too. She was always friendly and supportive, which at times I didn't deserve.

The summer before 10th grade, I had my first car dates with Diann. She was so cute and a sweetheart of a person. Our families lived on the same street but I lost contact with her after graduation.

Some things I won't forget...her smile, her eyes, her friendship.

Always,

This is such sad news. One of my favorite memories of Diann dates from when we attended Spring Woods Junior High. Diann played Paul McCartney when four of us performed "She Loves You" in Spanish for a foreign language contest. I was John, Marsha Hunt was George, and Joe McClintock was Ringo. My mother (now deceased) took photos of the (faux) Fab Four, posed exactly like famous pictures of the real Beatles.
