
Dale passed away March 29, 2012 after a two year battle with cancer. A memorial was held for family and friends at Steephollow Church near Bryan, Texas.

With his family and friends by his side, Dale Alexander of Bryan, Texas, returned to his Lord and Savior, after a brave battle against cancer.
Dale's memorial gathering, a celebration of his life by his friends and family is planned for 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, at Steephollow Baptist Church, in the Fellowship Hall.
Dale was born on May 20, 1951 in Muncie, Indiana. He was the eldest son of Lois Chitty Alexander and William E. Alexander. A lifelong bachelor, he is survived by his parents of Bryan, his sister Laura Edmonds, his brother Ross Alexander and numerous nephews and nieces.
A lover of life and taking life to its fullest. He was a fearless adventurer, snow skier, a Porsche fancier, animal advocate, avid sports fan, a truth seeker, and a generous, hardworking spirit with his friends and their ventures.
He was a loving and conscientious caregiver. Dale's many and varied lifelong friends are his legacy and testimony to his full life. He was especially active in and loved his friends in Bible study class at Central Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, Dale's family requests memorial donations may be made to Traditions Hospice.

I haven't been on this site for a while and was saddened to hear of Dale's passing. I have such fond memories of our friendship and wondered where life had taken him as he hadn't posted here. He was one of the nicest boys I knew in high school. Rest in peace, Dale, you were one of the good guys.
