School Story:
After high school at Spring Woods class of 1969, I attended the University of Houston were I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology with honors. I later graduated medical school in 1978 from University of North Texas Health Science Center (Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine). I graduated 1st in my in medical school class with honors and received the Upjohn award of Academic Excellence for top graduate. After completion of internship at Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, I studied at the School of Aerospace Medicine, Brooks Air Force Base. I then served in the Air Force as Chief Flight Surgeon at Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas. While in the Air Force I received both the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award and the Air Force Commendation Medal. I opened my family practice in Tomball, Texas in 1984 after honorable discharge from the Air Force. I served as past Chief of Family Practice and past Chief of Staff at Tomball Regional Hospital.
My wife and I have three sons together. Mrs. Whiteley (Jeanell) works with me at office in Tomball "Tomball Familicare" as office manager. I have many interest and hobbies which include: family including my 5 grandchildren, the health and welfare of my patients, hunting, fishing, boating, weight lifting, bicycling, and computers.
I have medical staff privileges at Tomball Regional Hospital and Methodist Willowbrook Hospital.
